Very good ANC
Possibility to adjust the battery level - saves battery life and prolongs its life, which is the Achilles heel of older versions (my battery died with XM3 and XM4, making otherwise functional headphones useless)
Still a bit bulky, so they stick out of the ears and are unsuitable for sleeping on the side (otherwise they would work great as spunts to block out ambient noise)

I also have older XM5 and I have to say that the new XM6 sound much cleaner, in the mids and highs and who says that they sound the same is not an audiophile or should quickly go to the ENT: ). The XM6s are clearer and the bass response is more controlled, which is a big plus. It's not that the XM6 bass isn't there, but when it's not needed it's attenuated, and when the bass spectrum of a song is more bassy, it takes over the way bass is supposed to sound without obscuring other frequencies. Music is not about bass (that's what headphones are for a couple of hundred dollars) but about making sure that not one frequency spectrum is obscured by another, and here you can hear every instrument even at the highest volume. The larger case be forgotten due to the overall quality, that's all and a pleasant listen: ))
