I already have a second Tefal iron with ceramic ironing surface. The first one lasted 15 years, even though I iron a lot. I can't get enough of ceramics. This model offers an extra attachment for ironing delicate laundry, but all the other functions are probably just as good as a cheaper iron. So this model is only for those who don't enjoy ironing over wet canvas, like me. It's quite heavy, so I wouldn't recommend buying it for smaller figures. The steaming is intense, easily ironing even over-dried clothes. The storage area is quite wide and may not fit into the iron holder on some ironing boards. Also good is the automatic switch-off function in the horizontal position after 30 seconds of inactivity and after 8 minutes of inactivity in the vertical position.
