This is the second Optigrill, my son took the first one when he moved out and asked me for it. I told myself I could do without it, but I only had two months and I went for it.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I bought the grill. It worked reliably, heated up quickly and thanks to the automatic programs, it was easy to prepare meat and vegetables with excellent results - everything was juicy and evenly cooked. I also appreciate the ease of maintenance, as all removable parts are dishwasher safe, and I like the large grilling surface and clear progress indicator.
Unfortunately, after the first batch is finished, the selection of preset programs cannot be restarted and the grill automatically switches to manual mode, which is impractical. Shortly after the purchase, a defect appeared on the heating element, for which the grill had to be advertised.

The programs work perfectly, whether for grilling meat, vegetables or toasting. So far always timed perfectly. The baking dish is a big plus. Tilts well to any thickness. Very easy maintenance. So far I have nothing to complain about.

Next time I'd probably go for the XL size. Even for two people, sometimes a larger barbecue area would be useful.
Many programs
Food should not overheat - automatic shutdown
Dishwasher safe
Integrated drip trays for dripping grease
Variability 4 in 1
So far everything has been excellent: )
When stacked, it cannot stand upright to take up less space

This is my first grill and I can say that I am extremely satisfied. I took my time with the review to see what I could actually cook with the grill: ) We tried sausages, meat, cheese, vegetables and of course toast and everything turned out great. Using minimum oil or 0 oil. Anything that drains, drains into the collection bowls. no mess anywhere after grilling 👍 It is indeed a clean grill 😁 I have tried baked potatoes, even crumble in the baking dish and perfect.
I'm happy that the grill "calls out" to me when it's hot 😁
Anything that runs off during grilling drains into collection trays
Controls are foolproof
The grill is robust and therefore stable
He evaluates how to bake - and I don't argue with him
