I'm sorry, I don't know where the error is, but it probably occurred during the description in the factory, in short this is NOT a reduction for OMTP headphones. According to the wiring (verified by ohmmeter), the female is wired according to CTIA standard (the outermost segment of the female is connected to the signal segments on the MIC connector - in OMTP wiring the outermost segments should be connected to each other, GND). So, if you don't have a soundbar with a smart input that autodetects the connection, either get another cable or get a reduction from OMTP to CTIA.

I didn' t notice any quality degradation in the headphones, only the microphone is quite quiet, but that might be the fault of the headphones themselves.
