we had been using a very old ironing board which was super heavy and difficult to set up. as it was old it was also noisy setting it up and as we usually only have time for ironing after the kids are in bed, it was a pain not to try and make noise / worry waking up the kids. With this new one we are super happy, one of the best and most overdue purchases we recently made!

My sister-in-law was surprised that I ironed on the table and didn' t have an ironing board, so I bought one. I looked through the reviews and a lot of them mentioned instability. Not with this one, and I was also fascinated by the attachment for long clothes. By the way, it is probably useless for left-handed people, if they do not have the option to put the iron on the left, or if they are not used to moving the ironed part of the laundry towards themselves. I was still fascinated by the James Bond-style maintenance instructions - Do not wash, dry clean, do not tumble dry, do not dry clean, just iron, take it easy.
