We bought a new dishwasher because the old one washed but didn't dry. Compared to an Electrolux dishwasher that is about 8 years old, I would say that it washes just as well, the dishes are clean and now dry: -) I see an advantage in the cutlery drawer, because more dishes can fit in the bottom compartment when the cutlery basket is not taking up space. The price/performance ratio seems fine to me. If all you expect from a dishwasher is clean and dry dishes, this is a good choice.

We bought the dishwasher as a replacement for an already retired one (also from Whirlpool), which lasted almost 16 years. Compared to the old one (I had them both next to each other during the exchange), a little bit of saving was made on the material (thinner sheets, plastic nuts on the inlet compared to brass ones, ...), but after installing it in the built-in and mounting the front panel that reinforces the door, nothing is noticeable anymore. Operation is simple and intuitive - you switch on, select the program and start. So far we have only tested two programs - ECO and automatic with 6th sense when we had a bit more dirty dishes. We haven't needed anything more for our life so far and I think we won't need anything more, because the most important thing the dishwasher does perfectly - it simply washes so well that we haven't pulled out a single piece of badly washed dishes in a month of use. So in that sense we are delighted and it cannot be compared with the previous dishwasher. We tested the PowerClean function once and it was actually a pleasant surprise. For us, therefore, absolute satisfaction and we can recommend the product to everyone who wants to have well-washed dishes even with a reasonable investment. In fact, I don't even know why I'd need to pay extra...

The door of ours is rather stiff to open (probably a hard spring).
The guide for the bottom basket wheels on the inside of the door is (probably) not deep enough and the basket tends to "pop out" if handled carelessly. But it's not something you can't get used to.
