What caught my eye most about the phone was probably the 50-megapixel camera with a Leica lens, featuring optical zoom and other advanced settings such as sensor sensitivity, white balance and manual focus. In PRO mode, it even displays a live histogram. This camera was actually the main reason I bought this model of phone. Another huge plus, in my view, is the exceptionally well-executed wireless transfer of files, apps and contacts, which retained virtually all the settings and apps from my original Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, which I had been happily using for years. I see this as further confirmation that I made the right choice. What’s more, both phones are virtually the same size, which also played a significant part in my decision. Another thing I really like about the Xiaomi brand is the original case that comes with the phone. I also welcome the built-in IR port, which allows you to control televisions, projectors, air conditioning units and a range of other devices that use infrared signals. Another advantage for me is the ability to use two SIM cards in the device at the same time – or even three, if you include eSIMs. The main drawback, in my view, is the lack of a charger in the box. I also had to do without the card slot and the three buttons below the display. The accompanying photographs show, in particular, the phone’s camera without a case and with a case that provides partial protection. Two photographs of dogs in motion provide an example of his work.
