An improvement over the original version, still nice and functional enough. The internal electronics annoy me though, the PWM thing is terrible, although it handles precise temperature well.

In the app, you can set the temperature in 5 degree Celsius increments, e.g. 85°C. You can only set up the kettle in the app, but you have to manually switch on the boiling (for safety reasons). There is no need to leave the kettle open so that the condensation does not run down the kettle.
