2-stroke engine

A 2-stroke engine is a type of engine that completes one operating cycle in two strokes: intake and explosive thrust. 2-stroke engines are generally easier to build and maintain than 4-stroke engines, but they can be noisier and less efficient. Clean fuel, such as gasoline from a pump barrel, cannot be poured into these engines. The fuel must be enriched with oil. The mixing ratio varies depending on the engine.
