Brizura is a type of earring fastening that is secured from the front of the ear. The earring hook is passed through the earlobe from back to front and then hooked into a small eyelet located on the front, decorative part of the jewelry. This mechanism is considered safe because it makes it difficult for the earring to open accidentally and be lost. For this reason, it is traditionally used primarily for earrings designed for infants and small children.
