Lubricant for clay

Clay lubricant is a liquid that is applied to the surface of the bodywork before using the clay bar. Its main function is to reduce friction between the clay and the paintwork, preventing scratching of the surface and ensuring smooth movement of the clay mass. The use of a lubricant is essential for a proper and safe decontamination process. Some pH neutral car shampoos can be used as an alternative lubricant, but specialized products provide greater effectiveness and protection for the paintwork. Quality lubricants also extend the life of the clay bar itself.
