The grease filter is a key element of the cooker hood and is designed to trap grease particles that are produced during cooking. The kitchen is a place where many fat aerosols are released, which can lead to fat deposits on the surface of appliances and even on the walls. The function of the grease filter is to trap these grease particles and prevent them from spreading into the ventilation system or exhaust ducts. This minimises the risk of duct blockages and significantly reduces the need for cleaning and maintenance.
