An ear wrap is a type of ear jewelry that adorns a larger part of the ear, not just the earlobe. As the name suggests, part of the ornament often wraps around the auricle or is placed behind it. It can take the form of an ear cuff, which is worn on the cartilage of the outer ear and does not require a piercing. Another variant is a two-part piece of jewelry, where the front ornament in the lobe is connected to a larger decorative element placed behind the ear. Historically, it was a typical Slavic piece of jewelry, often in the shape of a simple S-shaped or C-shaped wire.
