Key features and equipment of the SOS button Senzoor Klik Loc
- Senzoor Klik Loc is a self-contained device that continuously locates objects, people, cars or pets, in case of pressing the SOS button it informs up to 5 preset contacts about an emergency situation
- The button must be held for at least two seconds to eliminate unwanted alarms
- The user is informed by whistling and vibrating about the delivery of the alarm
- Automatic position logging occurs periodically at a set time interval, which can be varied from 10 minutes to 24 hours
- The location is shown on the map in the web interface
- The battery in the device lasts up to a year, eliminating the user's worries about regular charging, it is a commonly available CR2450 cell, the more often the device records its position, the faster the battery capacity decreases If the user sets the frequency of position measurement to 10 minutes, the battery life drops to about 3 to 4 months, depending on the strength of the signal
- The user will be notified of the need to replace the battery via email and SMS
- The device operates on the NB-IoT network, which has a wide coverage.
- SIM card is included and there is no need to buy anything, thanks to this technology the device communicates even in places where there is no standard signal for mobile phones, to achieve extremely long battery life, so its location determines the device based on scanning the surrounding networks (WiFi and BTS)
- The device does not connect to the WiFi network, it only determines the location with an accuracy of up to 20 meters, in the absence of surrounding WiFi networks, the location is determined by a station (BTS)
Notice
In order for the device to work properly, the user pays a monthly fee according to the selected tariff. The tariff suitable for the intended use is chosen by the user according to his/her requirements. There are three tariff options, namely: Basic, Standard and Pro. A description of each variant and the differences between them can be found on the website www.senzoor.cz/cs/ceník after selecting the Klik Loc device. The contacts to which the button press information is sent are then set up by the user under their account in the contacts tab. The recipients of the messages can usually be family members and other close persons, neighbours, etc.
The product is developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic, where Senzoor also provides customer support.
How the button alert works
1. Press the button (must be pressed for two seconds)
By pressing a button on the device, an alarm is triggered and delivered by email, SMS or phone call. At the same time, the location of the device is also sent and can be displayed in the web interface under the "Map" tab. The sending of this notification is then confirmed by an audible signal and vibration of the device.
2. Nonstop message forwarding
The message is received by the automatic Senzoor control panel and distributed to the list of recipients. The function is not dependent on any operator. Recipients are contacted by SMS, email and automated phone call one at a time until one of the contacts accepts the call. If one of the above contacts is already dealing with the situation, the others are informed of this fact.
3. Verification and resolution of the situation
The recipient who has received the call will soon verify the situation to the best of his/her ability. In the web interface, the user can view a map showing the current location of the device when the SOS button is pressed and the history of the automatically recorded location.
