This device creates a stable WiFi network through the mobile internet. This model is capable of WiFi transmission speeds up to 6936 Mb/s. For wired internet connection, you can use 5 × integrated LAN ports. These have a data transfer speed of 1 Gbit. The Teltonika LTE Router RUTX12 LTE WiFi modem has built-in slots for 2 SIM cards. It uses the IPv6 protocol for Internet communication. VPN encryption keeps your data safe. The device also comes with a firewall. You can use the DMZ if needed. It's a physical or logical subnetwork , separated from other networks for security reasons. The Teltonika LTE WiFi modem features 802,11ac standards.

Umožňuje současně provoz na obě SIM (a tím pádem cca 2x rychlejší připojení), nebo pracuje vždy s primární sim a druhá sim je záložní? U Teltonicy RUT950 (je o hodně levnější a má 2 sloty SIM taky) platí: "Ze stránek výrobce je zřejmé, že to nejde: "both SIM cards cannot be active at the same time". Slouží jen jako záložní, lze mezi nimi přepínat podle nastavených pravidel, ale nemohou běžet současně."
