All of the Sony HT-A9 4.0.4 units have two built-in microphones to focus their relative position and height. The system adjusts everything to achieve perfect surround sound throughout the room. Simply connect the Sony HT-A9 4.0.4 soundbar controller to your TV and the four speakers will also connect—completely wirelessly. This way you don't have to deal with unsightlycablingstretching across your living room. Use Easy Setup from the home menu on the TV screen to activate Sound Field Optimisation at any time and the HT-A9 Home Theatre System will intelligently measure the distance between the speakers and your ceiling for smart and easy setup.

The up-firing X-Balanced Speaker Unit bounces sound off the ceiling, allowing the sound from the Sony HT-A9 4.0.4 Home Cinema System to reach beyond you and achieve a truly immersive surround sound.
The new subwoofer uses a cavity effect with wide directivity. This is achieved by reducing the depth of the concaved shape.
The speakers have a special rounded rectangular shape that maximises the diaphragm area to ensure richer bass. This technical solution reduces driver excursion while maintaining sound pressure, so vocals retain their clarity with much less distortion.
