What to focus on when choosing a gaming chair

Rocking mechanism

As the name suggests, it lets you rock back and forth to temporarily relieve the pressure on your back and prevents you from stiffening up from sitting in one position. We recommend choosing a chair that lets you adjust the counterweight as well—you can choose how much force you need to apply to rock.

Do you game a lot? If so, we recommend choosing a chair with more sophisticated mechanics,
such as a dedicated gaming seat or an ergonomic chair.

Armrests and their adjustment

There are basically two types or armrests—fixed and adjustable. The latter further enhance seating comfort, improve the overall chair ergonomics and make it easier for you to hold a mouse. The armrests can be adjusted not only vertically but also laterally.
