Ak aktivujete režim HDR, fotoaparát automaticky po stlačení spúšte odfotografuje viac snímok s rôznym nastavením expozície a ich spojením vznikne farebne vyvážená fotografia aj vo veľmi extrémnych podmienkach, ako je napríklad fotografovanie krajiny, pri ktorom tak nedôjde k prepáleniu oblohy alebo naopak k úbytku detailov na zemi.
