Types of garden rakes

Rake leaves

Perfect for raking leaves and moss from the lawn, especially during the autumn. Ideal for working on large areas around the house. They are made of a very flexible and resistant material (metal or plastic). They do not harm the lawn.

aerating rakes

This is a special type with classic spikes and a sharp, slightly curved blade. They are ideal for raking, removing moss and dried grass. Perfectly pluck weeds and thus maintain a beautiful and healthy lawn. It is also perfect for loosening soil.

These are one of the most sought after because of their versatility. They can be used to rake and also aerate. Also useful for loosening the soil.

What to look for when choosing a rake

When choosing a rake pay attention primarily to the materials used. Rakes are made of hard plastic or wood, some even from metal. Focus also on what work you intend to use the rake for.

Plastic rakes - characterised by a very long life, durability and flexibility. They are very light. They are maintenance-free. Pleasant to work with around the garden.
Wooden rakes - usually made of beech and linden trees. They are very durable and suitable for raking hay and grass. At least once a year it is necessary to impregnate the wood with a special coating.
