Compared to similarly expensive in-ear headphones, they play better and tend to be more comfortable - you will notice the difference especially when using them for a long time. Gaming headphones
Choose headphones/ a headset for gaming. This will allow you to communicate with other players. Gamers generally prefer headphones with a good bass response that amplifies sounds such as explosions or gunfire.
Office headphones
Lighter and smaller headsets are suitable for use in offices, call centers and for internet calls. Operators in call centers will appreciate so-called monaural headphones. These leave one ear free, allowing you to communicate with people around you without having to take your headphones off your head.
Headphones for home listening
If you are looking for headphones purely for listening to music at home, we recommend models without a microphone. Due to its absence, headphones are usually a bit cheaper than models designed for gaming.

The shell is a designation for the part of the headphones in which the components through which it produces sound are located. Headphones are fitted with earbuds on the inside, which makes the use of the headphones comfortable. The designation "shell" is associated primarily with over the head headphones (those with a head band). This designation is not used earpods.
