Intel Skylake-X Processors (EVERYTHING THAT WE KNOW)
For years, Intel has been reporting the rhythm of the processor, chipset, and SSDs in the form of a new Intel Optane platform. In spite of all this, AMD Ryzen has changed the processor. Intel has been compelled to shift to a higher speed, which has been left to the detriment of all users for a long time in advance. Intel Basin Falls is a platform for professionals

Introducing the Intel Skylake-X CPU
At Intel's Computex 2017, Intel introduced a completely new platform of high-end processors, which predominantly dominates a 18-core monster. It was also a very surprising introduction to the Intel Core i9 series. These high-end processors made by 14nm technology will completely replace the already-reaching Broadwell-E CPU . All of them belong to the Intel Core i7 / i9 7000 series. Despite the numerical similarity with the Kaby Lake range, however, these are completely different processors. Thanks to the increased number of kernels, the computing power will grow tremendously, but for example, he can not really use today's games at all. That's why Intel Skylake-X processors are heading into the professional realm.

The new Intel Core i9 series
Intel has decided to go into the performance battle with AMD and pull the eso sleeve in the form of Intel Core i9 processors. For the first time in his history, he used such high marks. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i9-7900X 10-core model has a working frequency of 3.3-4.5 GHz. Other models should have 12, 14, 16 and 18 cores, but we still have to wait for the official parameters. Anyway, the speculation is up to $ 1,999.

Intel has significantly accelerated the launch of processors and we can happily announce that Skylake-X is in stock. Even the Core i9-7900-X. So far, there are up to 10 core variants available. The Intel Skylake-X processor is in the world. And where is Skylake-E?
Even in 2015, it was speculated that Intel's successor to the Broadwell-X high-end processor family would be Skylake-E. Compared to all the assumptions, Intel has decided to stay for a long time on the very good Broadwell-X CPU. In fact, competing AMD did not have a competing model against Intel Core i7 processors at the time. Even in this higher priced area, however, AMD Ryzen processors are starting to happen.
For whom are Intel Skylake-X processors designed?
If you want to play to the fullest, you have one ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080 Ti graphics card and you just want to enjoy maximum game performance, take Intel Skylake-X in a 6-core or 8-core variant and overclock it. First Review of Intel Core i9-7900X CPU
Professional foreign magazines have already been able to carefully test the new CPU from Intel. Recognized Tom's Hardware server has played with the 10- core Intel Core i9-7900X . The processor enjoys tremendous performance in all tests. Unfortunately, the price is $ 999 and consumption overclocking. The AMD Ryzen 9 (Threadripper) should be about halfway at a similar performance. It is definitely good to wait for a real test.
Chipset X299 and new socket LGA 2066
Along with the Intel Skylake-X processors, the highest X299 chipset has ever appeared. Its privileges include a 4-channel memory controller with official DDR4 memory support at 2,666 MHz. The PCI Express controller even has up to 44 PCI Express lines. This will allow for a better combination of connectivity, which is supported by a division of × 16 / × 16 / × 8 / × 4. The chipset also natively supports 10 USB 3.0 ports, 8 SATA ports of the third generation. However, there is still no USB 3.1 Gen2 support, which will need to be integrated with the motherboard manufacturer itself.
An understandable thing is using a brand new LGA 2066 socket. This is common to both Intel Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X. But it is not compatible with Intel Kaby Lake processors. However, we have good news for overclockers. So, if you already own a compatible heat sink with the previous LGA 2011 socket, Noctua will give you a completely free upgrade to the LGA 2066 socket kit.
