Naozaj len ťažko nájdete disk, na ktorom by neboli žiadne duplicitné či nadbytočné dáta. Tieto dáta nielen ukrajujú z dostupnej kapacity úložiska, ale tiež spomaľujú chod celého počítača. Raz za čas (napr. za štvrťrok) by ste preto mali svoj disk aspoň čiastočne...
Dnešné počítačové alebo konzolové hry konzumujú vysoké desiatky GB dát. Aj preto je dôležité mať dostatok miesta na disku.
