"International Cat Day" MARKETING CAMPAIGN 

INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

1. The trading company Alza.cz, IČO 27082440, DIČ CZ27082440, with its registered office at Jankovcova 1522/53, Holešovice, Prague 7, postal code 170 00, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 8573, (hereinafter referred to as "Alza") is organising a marketing campaign called "International Cat Day" (hereinafter referred to as the "Campaign"), which will run from 00:00 on 8 August 2021 to 23:59 on 10 August 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the "Campaign Period"), and hereby sets out the rules and conditions of the Campaign, which are available on the website www.alza.cz/EN/podminky-akce-mezinarodni-den-kocek.
2. Alza draws attention to the fact that the terms and conditions for advertising messages, which Alza states on the website www.alza.cz/reklama, also apply to the Campaign.

CAMPAIGN BASIC CONDITIONS

1. A Customer from the Czech Republic or the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant"), who meets the conditions of the Campaign as set out in these rules at the time of the event, will receive a 10% discount on selected products, for which a discount code can be used (e.g. in the price of this product), for the amount of 10%, provided that:
   1. The Participant buys at least one of the selected products from the Cat categories in the Alza online store available on the website www.alza.cz or www.alza.sk. Selected products display information that a discount code can be used (in the price of the product).
   2. Before completing the purchase of this product, the Participant must enter the code "DENKOCEK2021" for CZ or "DENMACIEK2021" for SK in the "Apply Promo/Discount Code or Gift Voucher" field in the Cart.
2. Participants will be excluded from the campaign if they:
   1. Do not meet the conditions of the Campaign as stated in these rules;
   2. Use a payment card for which they are not the authorised holder;
   3. They act in violation of the law, and/or good morals, and/or, commit fraud in connection with the Campaign;
3. In the event of exclusion of the Participant, such a Participant is not entitled to compensation for any costs or damage that may arise.
4. The discount does not apply to all products from the Alza Pet range, but only to those for which, after clicking on the detail of the given product, the discount code is explicitly stated.

PERSONAL DATA

1. Alza is the administrator of the Participant's personal data. You can contact Alza at www.alza.cz/kontakt

2. The purpose of processing the Participant's personal data is the proper participation in the Campaign and for related activities such as giving a discount and checking and evaluating the fulfilment of the Campaign conditions by the Participant.
3. The legal basis for processing is Alza's legitimate interest in having the Participant's personal data available for the purposes as mentioned above. As each Participant participates in the Campaign voluntarily, and if Alza could not process the Participant's personal data in the purposed as mentioned above, Alza would not announce the campaign. It is possible to raise an objection to the processing of personal data via this contact form (alza.cz/kontakt> others> personal data> raising an objection).

FINAL PROVISIONS

1. Alza declares that it is not responsible for errors caused by the transmission of electronic messages.
2. Alza reserves the right to change the conditions of the Campaign or to cancel the Campaign altogether.
3. The Participant is not entitled to reimbursement of costs associated with participation in the Campaign.
4. These Campaign rules come into effect on the day of their announcement and by taking part in the Campaign, the Participant expresses their agreement with these rules.
5. All disputes arising out of or arising from this Campaign shall be settled exclusively by Alza.
