DiCAPacs are waterproof protective sleeves that shield cameras, phones, MP3 players and other small items from the elements keeping them dry in all conditions. The DiCAPac's protective housing meets the strict Japanese standard JIS IPX8, meaning they are able to withstand pressure of 0.5 MPa for 30 minutes, and can protect equipment to a depth of 5 m below the water surface.
DiCAPac cases are not only for divers or swimmers, they also protect devices from snow, moisture, dust and other elements that could have an adverse effects on sensitive electronic equipment. Besides the advanced waterproofing there are a number of other features such as dust, smoke, sand and snow protection.
Cases are available in a wide range including compact and SLR cameras, mobile phones and universal versions that cater for the storage of phones, MP3 players, documents, money and other small items. The cases are complemented by a removable neck strap for easy portability. Phone specific cases are designed in such an intuitive way that it is even possible to make calls.
Digital SLR camera cases allow the use of zoom lenses, as well as good accessibility to all the necessary controls. The protective lens housing consists of a special polycarbonate cover with UV filter, offering the possibility to shoot quality images without distortion.
The unique construction of DiCAPac sleeves with their double closure technology prevents water, snow, dust and sand from reaching devices. They are an indispensable accessory for water and winter sports and any humid or dusty environments.
