We are satisfied with the monitor. The package contains only an HDMI cable, but we need it now, with the old HDMI we are running at 120 Hz. I haven't figured out how the light sensor works yet, I guess I'll have to download the manual, there's only a wiring guide in the package.

For maximum brightness, the ambient light sensor must be turned off. (especially if you are looking against the window). There is a button on the front of the monitor that can be used to switch between the four most common modes, in one the sensor is on, in the other it is off. In strong light, just switch: )

Overall, I am very impressed with the monitor. Thanks to its high refresh rate, it doesn't hurt your eyes. BENQ has nice and true-to-life colours compared to Samsung, I guess that's subjective. It is well made and the speakers will replace any alternative. I can compare them to my iPhone 12 in quality, they are just more powerful. For some, three video connectors may be a bonus. The ability to put it on the wall over the VESA is nice, but I liked the leg and the slight height change so much I left it on the leg. I don't know what to read into it, maybe just that sometimes from switching from power saving mode the speakers don't reload and the sound plays from the NTB, it needs to be restarted afterwards, but that may be a bug in Windows.
