the resolution I needed.
no instructions, qr code leads to homepage, it can't find instructions by model, you need to search for model from catalogue and then it finds instructions
"Czech" instructions are in Polish.
the instructions don't contain half the information one needs for proper wiring. in my case I wanted to use the monitor with my ntb (via usb-c) and desktop. I had to figure out the wiring solution on my own (with additional costs for reductions)
AOC brand support does not work, no one ever answered the phone. this, together with the instructions in the mail and the general chaos on the web, shows that they are not interested in the Czech market.
the picture is noticeably worse than "better" monitors.
speakers a tragedy, switching to my external speakers is absolutely brutal to notice even with quiet spoken word, I'd rather not even talk about louder music. the speaker on my regular cell phone sounds better.
joystick control could be easier.
having to change monitor settings in different lighting conditions, previous HP monitor had no problem even at lower brightness.

Narrow frames
Very nice, natural colors for the price range, practically out-of-the-box even in basic settings
Elegant and relatively stable holder with a very thin base (which, however, must be screwed in with a screwdriver)
Height adjustment, tilt and rotation of the panel
Pivot function
USB-C connectivity for compatible laptops
Many settings for gamers (I can't appreciate because I don't use the monitor for gaming)
Sufficient for normal, undemanding office use
The edges of the hole in the leg of the holder, which serves as a cable organizer, are unpleasantly sharp
Only HDMI and USB-C cable included (which is quite stiff and hard to bend)
LAN connector missing
Documentation in CZ, drivers and SW supplied on CD (I couldn't find the documentation in CZ on the manufacturer's website)
The three apps i-Menu, Screen+ and eSaver are of very poor quality and give the impression that their development stopped twenty years ago (i-Menu is broken for me and the other two are useless)
Control and simultaneous switching with the joystick on the back is impractical and takes some getting used to
The OSD menu is a bit messy and the meaning of some options is not clear
