With MacOs, MonitorControl lets you change the brightness of the display using standard keys. After locking the Mac, the monitor turns off within a few seconds.
Colors are not 100% like on the Macbook Air M1. Specifically, the white is a little yellow. But otherwise it's extremely close, compared to other monitors. The monitor is switched on after 5-7 seconds from the first interaction.
