Backlight bleed is present but not visible in normal use. The high refresh rate combined with the widescreen (21:9) display is great. The control menu is OK (neither great nor bad), the control is handled by a joystick. The colours and contrast are not very good (compared to the Asus VG279Q) - I may have overlooked some features in the monitor menu, but the contrast is significantly worse when calibrated in Windows. Similarly, the brightness of the monitor, at 300cd/m2 it is no miracle, but it is enough if one does not need really high brightness (100% on this monitor is about 50-60% on the Asus VG279Q. For the price of about 9000, this is a solid ultra wide monitor with few flaws, despite which I can recommend the monitor.
