The monitor is adequate for the price, especially after the discount. No problem with connection or installation. HDR and 120 MHz work well in games, and HDR in movies is also usable. However, in terms of color rendering, it cannot match monitors with native 10-bit resolution. I replaced it with a ten year old BenQ 32" 10bit monitor, and when compared side by side, the difference in color quality is really noticeable. Thus, I recommend it more as a secondary monitor for entertainment. Something of higher quality is better for the main work surface.

I have many years of experience with MSI monitors, and after a few years I decided to replace my original 4K ultrawide monitor with a 2K model that offers a better refresh rate for smooth FPS gaming. For me, this proved to be the optimal choice, not only because of the resolution, but also because of other features. The monitor is the perfect size for me, giving me enough screen area to work comfortably while still bringing fun to gaming. It has the advantage of offering nice, rich colours, although you'll probably have to play around a bit with the colour settings in the panel to get the optimum result. In terms of gaming performance, MSI's monitor meets my expectations. Thanks to the higher refresh rate, I was able to enjoy a smooth experience when playing FPS games, which is a crucial aspect for me as a gamer. (I play on PS5) Overall, I'm satisfied and think this model might be the right choice for you.
