One of the cheapest 4K 144Hz monitors, but for the price it's really worth it. At first I was a bit skeptical thanks to local experts who gave a low rating, but you just have to find something about it on foreign sites, Reddit and RTINGS. The monitor met my expectations exactly, and I don't have a single problem with it.
4K resolution 144Hz
G-Sync, Freesync
VRR
Support PS5, Xbox
Text legibility
KVM Switch
USB Hub with 3 ports
Latency
Size
The OSD is terrible
HDR unusable
The factory setup is terrible and needs a bit of fiddling with

after several hours of struggling with installing drivers and sidekick, which in the end worked very unreliably anyway, the monitor made me quite frustrated.
In Linux, unlike windows, it worked without problems, but I only tested the higher monitor frequency and if it would jump at all. Of course no support from gigabyte.
first impressions of 144hz are beautiful
gigabyte software 0/10. Control center/sidekick sometimes doesn't find the device, sometimes it does. In order to even boot the monitor in windows, I had to run it in windows 7 compatibility mode. And even then, 75% of the time it says: "no device founded" - this behavior and roughly corresponds to how good engineers worked on this sw. I.e. The productivity benefits of this are mostly unavailable.
The monitor leg looks sturdy, but the monitor sways significantly.
Maybe a wrong choice on my part: if I set 4K resolution and double the size of the UI, it looks negligibly better than my about 10 years old dell ultrasharp, which it was supposed to replace, only the M28U has warmer colors and less glow. At FHD resolution, the M28U is significantly blurry compared to the 'old man'.
even though the nvidia console reported fresync on, the monitor itself reported that it was off. I don't know if that was true or not.
the speakers are extremely bad. Someone here wrote that they were for fun, and I took that lightly, but it's really extreme. A thousand-dollar phone sounds fundamentally better. The sound quality is probably worse than from the historical "sonet duo" reel-to-reel mono tape recorder.

I've had it about a year and it's OK. The firmware for the latest F11 version has already fixed most of the bugs. Somehow, I don't even know what I'd hate to see at this price. The rack is strong enough to carry a tank. I've gotten used to the Joystick controls, too. And playing 3D actions, etc. is cool. You have to set up HDR in Widnows and calibrate it. Subsequently, HDR and e.g. Far Cry 6 in 4K gorgeous. You just need to pull at least a 7900XTX card. I am satisfied and would probably only change for OLED in the future. I'll wait for that, though, because I work on the monitor more than I play, and ISP has its undeniable advantages. Good buy and I would definitely buy the monitor again for this great price of 17000!
The picture is perfect on 31.5" SS IPS technology
VESA - I had it on the wall for a while, but had to put it back on the stand because the wall was too far for my eyes
FarCry 4K HDR absolutely awesome
USB Hub
I don't use KVM often, but it has come in handy
clearly the location of the connectors at the bottom of the monitor, which I solved by adding a USB Hub, which I have glued behind the bottom of the monitor
Sometimes it happens that when restarting the PC I have to turn the monitor off with the switch and on again to make the so called. caught.

Two days after unpacking, a defective pixel (glowing one color) appeared. The build quality is appalling. Cheap plastics that don't even fit. HDR is completely unusable. The stand's no good. Returned. For similar money you have the Samsung Odyssey G7 or DELL G3223Q with the same specs but incomparably better quality and usable HDR.
Defective pixel
Quality of workmanship
HDR is more for fun
The stand is not solid at all and shakes like a tree in the wind with minor shocks

I' m brown, so I can notice a lot of negatives. However, the truth is that I switched from a 27 “4K LG 60 Hz monitor and this Gigabyte monitor surprised me very nicely. I still have a 34 “UW QHD MSI 144 Hz monitor to play with, but the Gigabyte is simply better on almost all fronts.
Excellent display uniformity
Minimal backlight bleed
144 Hz with FreeSync Premium Pro
Reduced input lag after firmware upgrade
Decently calibrated sRGB mode from the factory
KVM switch
No embarrassing RGB flare
An ideal diagonal for 4K, if I' m sitting at an 80 cm deep table. 27 “was very small for me, but at 34“ I have to move my head, which is annoying.
OK port selection
Price in this category of displays (although non-Christian high)
HDMI 2.1 only 24 Gbps, which can bother PS5 gamers due to chroma subsampling
The OSD is weak compared to LG or MSI, e. g. the monitor cannot be turned off via the OSD if no input is active
sRGB mode is locked except for brightness. However, there are 3 custom profiles
Forget that you will have a high polling rate keyboard and a high polling rate mouse connected via a USB hub with a KVM switch. When I connected the Cooler Master MK730 and Logitech Superlight Pro X, the keyboard failed to work properly (it jammed software). When I put the mouse in the USB port directly on the PC, the problem disappeared.
USB-PD only 18W, so you won' t even charge an ultrabook with it while driving
The OSD software that must be used for the firmware upgrade is total pain. At first he couldn' t detect the monitor, then he didn' t like that I had a USB 3.0 hub connected in one of the USB ports.
It needs at least RTX 3080 to make it worthwhile

sharp image
KVM
usb-c as an additional input for video and use with KVM
the monitor shuts down the usb hub and when used with KVM, the specific pc wakes up incorrectly
usb-c has just enough power to charge a phone, if it was able to power a laptop, it would not be a mistake

The first piece had a stuck pixel after two days, so I returned it because the claim would not be accepted. Bought for 879, alza then raised the price to 909. I bought the second piece for 899. At other sellers it was normally for 830 euros but either it was sold out or I saw the price go up by 100 euros, so I was left with alza again. tl; dr 800 dollar monitor sold for 900 euros is not worth it, but it has no competition on the technical side, so you don't have much to choose.
no more electronics, at least for now
technical specifications
good matte screen finish
windows does not recognize it and there is no driver
gigabyte sidekick software required for firmware update does not work
usb hub not working
the usb ports are so impractically seated, behind such a large panel, that it is not easy to get to them, so it is worthwhile to put there only something permanent and in any case not usb keys and the like
when I carried the monitor after unpacking on the table so I cut my leg on the edge of the stand, it is very sharp
the monitor has a thin bezel (1mm), but it is a lie, because the screen does not extend to the edge, but there is at least half an inch of dead glass, so the image looks as if it is floating in the monitor (as if you have set a smaller resolution and have a black bezel)
when the computer is in sleep so the diode on the monitor is flashing, moreover white color which is considerably distinct
a little impractical control but it's not as bad as some people write
it is impossible to update the firmware without connecting the monitor with the supplied cable to the pc (which does not work anyway)
absolutely horrible speakers, I have not heard worse in the last 20 years, which is absolutely unacceptable for a monitor for almost 900€, when a normal laptop or mobile sounds 10 times better
considerably wide box
personally I don't like monitors that have an aspect ratio of 16:9 but rather 16:10, although at 4k it doesn't matter that much
crappy support from gigabyte
the backlight is quite bright in the corners of the screen, probably due to the size. 100% my last LCD monitor, only oled in the future.
