The monitor has the classic and expected VA panel problems mentioned in the cons. Unfortunately, my piece also had "backlight bleeding" which was noticeable in the dark scenes of the games. I don't know what standards and norms Gigabyte has for this defect, which cannot be completely eliminated, but to release a given monitor in this price range with such significant bleeding does not seem reasonable to me. For this reason, it is a matter of consideration whether to recommend the monitor to someone. However, it's clear to me that bleeding is a problem for all monitor manufacturers (except the top ones) and literally every manufactured piece has a different backlight flow through the panel in this regard. Otherwise, I rate the monitor positively. It has a nice 1500R full width curve which suited me very well. The colour was also on a good level. In many ways, in black rendering and dark scenes, it was able to outperform the IPS monitor I had next door (EIZO ColorEdge CS2400). Mainly due to the lack of IPS glow effect and much deeper blacks. The games played very well on it. It was just the right size for the end of my desk. The writing was beautifully clear. However, I eventually returned the monitor within the 14 day period due to the gammashift effect being too distracting for me. According to rtings.com, it has very bad values (horizontal about 10-13%), which is very low and may disturb some people. When I bought it, I considered the Samsung G7 Neo, which I eventually rejected because of its too aggressive curvature. Anyone who buys a more expensive VA panel should study terms like "ghosting", "gammashift" and "black crush" to avoid being surprised.

144Hz at 4K (160Hz overclock)
Except for scrolling text (white on black) in windows at 144 Hz, I haven't had a problem with ghosting. In win at 60 Hz everything was ok.

High contrast and good black rendering compared to IPS technology.
Good pixel response for a VA panel.
Stable stand and adjustable height with swivel.
Beautifully clean and smooth writing.
In one part of the screen distracting backlight bleeding during very dark game scenes.
Significant gamashift or brightness changes with slight horizontal changes in viewing angle. It created a disturbing impression. Visible against a grey contrasting background (typical of VA technology).
VA glow bluish or purplish colors on the bottom of the screen again too noticeable in very dark gaming scenes (typical for VA technology).
Too bad it doesn't have MiniLED backlight. It would take it to a whole other level where the VA glow and bleeding problems could be eliminated.

visible IPS glow at the bottom of the monitor in three places, and at the top in one place. It's just that in a darker scene, the places that should be dark all over the screen are lit in the places I mentioned. But it's not that drastic, I've seen worse IPS glow.
it does not remember the overclock function (refresh rate 160 Hz) when the pc is turned on again. I have to set it up again.
sometimes it happens that when you turn on the pc, the image does not boot, that the monitor does not show loading bios and then the windows environment. Just turning the monitor off and on will help.
it's getting pretty hot at the bottom of the monitor. The top is cold but the bottom is pretty much warmed up. But I guess that's normal.
