The Samsung G8 could be a great monitor but unfortunately it suffers from poor quality control from production. The monitor had several problems with the image, besides the unusable 240Hz due to scanlines, it woke up badly and often flashed all over. In the end I changed to the lower model G7 which works much better, although "only" at 165Hz but it is actually more than 120Hz which was usable on the G8.
4k resolution at 32" is just right
16:10 aspect ratio is great
surprisingly nice bending which I quickly got used to and would not change
240Hz unusable due to extreme visible scanlines
the monitor often "woke up" badly and flickered for some time before it recovered
sometimes it didn't turn on at all and it was necessary to downgrade DP version from 1.4 to 1.2 to wake up and start working
Why the volume adjustment is available in FW when the monitor has no speakers I don't understand.

For 4k gaming/work, truly one of the best monitors on the market
Incredible response
Picture like wine maximum satisfaction
The monitor doesn't want to turn itself on after a long period of inactivity and I have to turn it on "manually". (Tested on multiple devices)
It takes an awfully long time for the monitor to recognize which of the two HDMI cables is actually plugged in.
COMPLAINT The piece is obviously defective

I consider myself to be a very demanding and avid player of fast action mostly online games. I've had my hands on enough gaming monitors to judge the quality of this piece. I have a 360 Hz gaming monitor from Asus in Full HD, or two excellent gaming monitors from Dell in Quad HD, one with 144 Hz and the other with 240 Hz. But the idea of a fast 4K monitor still nagged at me. I asked myself does it even make sense to play fast action online games like COD and the like in 4K resolution, the second thing was for my taste already a large diagonal 32 inches, since I have so far had on the table max 27 monitor and even that seemed to me too big and in addition has Samsung even bent display with which I had no experience at all. I've been rocking the purchase for about six months. And let me tell you something. I never want to play on another monitor again! Absolutely incredible sharp image in 4K at maximum detail literally took my breath away and I couldn't believe how realistic today's modern game can look. I'm talking mostly about Call of Duty now: Modern Warfare 2 (PC) a game I've been playing for about half a year now. A mullet, of course. Normally the first thing that flashed through my mind was that this is a completely different game. I was also worried about FreeSync because I own an Nvidia graphics card specifically the 4080 and have always had monitors with G-Sync. You won't know the difference, be at ease, this monitor is really very fast and the response is absolutely fine, you won't notice the curvature at all after a while in the game and the 32 diagonal is just right with that curvature and the moment I turned on HDR in 12 bit depth over my graphics my chin dropped to the floor: -). Really absolutely amazing colors with incredible sharpness of the 4k image, just something I have never seen in my life until now and I know I don't want another monitor but this one. Damn those few dozen frames I lost by switching from Quad HD to 4K. The moment you turn on your favourite game on this monitor in 4K resolution and crank it up to max. details and with 150 FPS there mowing down one guy after another you'll find it's worth a damn! One more thing. If you use only one monitor like me, make sure to connect it with HDMI 2.1 cable instead of DisplayPort 1.4 because it is better quality. If your graphics card supports it, of course. Otherwise, always DisplayPort for gaming and multiple monitors. What to say in conclusion. If you have a powerful enough computer, don't be afraid to switch to 4K. With this monitor, it's a real experience worth having. The price has come down from 35,000 to the current 26,000 in six months and is getting to a value that is already quite acceptable for what you get.
Ultimate speed
Ultimate sharpness
Ultimate colours
Damn addictive monitor: -)

Absolutely great gaming monitor, I was worried about GtG response when I bought it because I'm used to TN monitors, but GtG response is definitely not an issue here. I had a bit of a mental problem with the curvature too, but it turned out OK at that size. The stand is perfectly flexible, but at the cost of being a bit "wobbly", you just have to scratch the table and the monitor starts to move. The white color annoys me a bit, but it's only from the back, the front of the monitor is black. I definitely recommend checking for defective pixels right away when you buy it at home, it's common for a 4K monitor this big to have some pixels that are already defective from the factory. For me specifically, I returned the first piece because of defective pixels, only the second piece would be perfect. I read a lot on the internet with the first reviews that the monitor has a problem with "scan lines", I don't have this problem with my monitor, so either Samsung fixed it with a firmware revision or it may be a specific setup, but fortunately for me this problem is not there. I am very satisfied with the results, I took the monitor mainly because I was buying Strix 4090 OC and this is defakto the only monitor on the market that can use its potential and play games 240FPS in 4K in HDR. So for RTX 4090 owners I definitely recommend it, playing 4K at 240Hz with HDR on a monitor this big, in perfect colours, is a unique experience that, at least at the time of writing this review, no other monitor will offer. So 10/10 for me. I would definitely recommend checking the pixels properly after opening it at home, but that should be a process that one does automatically with every monitor after purchase, it takes 10 minutes and can save you a lot of wrinkles, especially with a monitor with that price tag, because a few defective pixels are not covered by warranty. RECOMMENDED 10/10 (For those who have a build that can run 4K at 240FPS)
The Only 4K 240Hz Monitor on the Market
Great HDR with 1196 dimming zones!
Excellent GtG response
Very flexible stand
High chance of defective pixels when buying
Only in white
The stand could hold the monitor more rigidly
The rear sockets are outwards instead of downwards
