For the price, it's a blast. Over HDMI it can only do 100 Hz, over DP it can do 144 Hz without any problems. It has nice colours and HDR works surprisingly well despite the low brightness of only 300 nits. The curvature is nice and this monitor looks bigger than a 34" ultrawide flat. I just don't know how to connect the USB hub, there was no cable in the package and the only USB 2.0 on the Alza, which would be a waste of the speed of the ports in the monitor.

I recommend to connect directly via display port and not HDMI. If you want HDMI you should definitely invest in a cable, but DP is better for this monitor.
Personally I recommend UW if you don't mind black bars in some games

Not all games support 21:9 UW. So you have them locked to 16:9 and black bars on the sides
Also animations in games are reduced to 16:9 but it's about the game. Baldurs gate 3 for example goes beautifully on 21:9 Red Dead Redeption 2 goes beautifully, but in animations it goes on 16:9, and Elden Ring is locked on 16:9 completely
