I only have it for a few days, but I absolutely do not regret the purchase, if you have never seen OLED, you better not buy, you will not want another: )
inky black colors, when watching movies sometimes I don't know if the monitor is shutting off or just changing the scene: )
165hz
the adjustable height could be a little bit bigger, I would move it up a few cm, I think I'll fix it by mounting it on the wall
beautiful black, suddenly dark scenes are a delight
the jump from a VA or IPS panel is just incredible
I switched from a 32" 16:9 and I have to say that this is absolutely the perfect size for both work and play
if you think about it, it's worth the money.
when you find content with well-implemented HDR, it's a real treat (especially gaming)
support for HDR in windows is tristic(I have it set correctly), I haven't solved HDR video playback even with VLC, MPC or other X software
little HDR content available which is not a monitor problem
someone complained that the backlight does not hold the settings, it is so but if you set it through Alienware Command Centre so it will be OK, I also recommend to download Dell Display Manager, at nemusite litat v nastavenich monitor manune
maybe the price, but it's worth it despite the problems with HDR content
2 dead pixels, I don't want to deal with returning them, they can only be detected in self-diagnosis mode
I had a Samsung Odyssey G85SB at home that has the same panel, immediately went out of the house see. my review of the product in question. Alienware is in a completely different league. Contents of the package, fully adjustable stand, classic "monitor" menu you would expect from a monitor, reliable on, off and wake-up, classic connectors, no mini bullshit like Samsung. The only flaw is probably the memory of the LED lighting settings. For example, when I set the PC timer to turn off, I look at night and the LED monitor light comes back on, even though I manually turned it off via the menu. Except for the small thing with the LED lighting, which I hope the firmware update will solve, I am really excited and satisfied, finally a product that one can be happy with and not regret the relatively high price.
Quality workmanship, contents of the package, even easier installation than Samsung
Super colors, viewing angles, black color
Absence of unnecessary things like remote, apps, etc. that Samsung has
Does not keep LED lighting settings (Logo, "34" and power button) in memory -
Absolutely the best gaming monitor I've found for reasonable money. The only thing that sucks is the sag of the 1800R, it's practically straight. With a 1500R or even a 1000R it would be perfect.
lots of preset HDR modes for gaming, movies etc., really appreciate
the colour rendering quality of OLED in HDR mode probably doesn't need much comment, there is nothing better
the image doesn't fade even when viewed from the smallest angle, I didn't expect that
processing quality and design
3 years warranty, this is one of the most important things for me with OLED panels
price
anti-burn protection system
2x DP and 1x HDMI ports are just enough (no mini/micro crap like Samsung)
black colour
ultrawind 21:9 - in pvp you have an advantage, wider field of view is great, especially for shooting and racing
calibration report from the manufacturer
DP cable included
it was necessary to update firmware to version 03, otherwise HDR did not work in games
once every 4 hours it is good to perform an OLED pixel refresh, which takes 6-8 minutes to maintain good panel life
only 1800R curvature, personally it doesn't suit me very well, the best is 1000R for the least eye fatigue, but I guess I'll have to get used to it, OLEDs with 1000R are just not made
it doesn't have HDMI 2.1, but since it's not 4K, it doesn't matter, everyone uses TV for console gaming anyway
the blue light filter is not in the OS, as the manufacturer claims on the official website
You can't change brightness in HDR, only contrast, other monitors can do it, but you can tweak it in games
I switched from the LG 27GL850 IPS 144Hz, 2K and wasn't expecting such a huge difference in picture quality.
excellent colours and the black is really perfectly black
the monitor was factory set and delivered with a certificate of color, gamma, etc.
anti-reflective layer
workshop processing
price corresponds to quality
design
none
