Over the course of a year, we gradually purchased 15 of these monitors for our office. (5 units of the 2024 model P3424WE and 10 units of the 2025 model P3425WE). In the space of a year, we had to return three monitors under warranty; we lost two of them. 1. Complaints The fault became apparent immediately after unpacking the original box. The monitor wouldn’t switch on at all after installation. We returned it to Alza and received a replacement. 2. Complaints Whilst working on the computer, a wide vertical stripe suddenly appeared in the middle of one of the monitors, with the image distorted in colour and, in places, completely blank. According to a statement from the DELL service centre, the screen has cracked. Apparently, we caused the crack ourselves by hitting the monitor! They did not accept the complaint. The monitor worked for about 8 months. 3. Complaints The same fault as in complaint no. 2. Just three months later, with another monitor. This time, the fault became apparent after the monitor was switched on. Suddenly, two vertical bands of distorted image appeared on either side and one horizontal band at the bottom of the screen. The conclusion of the DELL service is the same as in the previous case. They did not accept our complaint. The other monitors are working normally "for the time being". We'll see how long.
