For myself I would definitely not buy it, it is so suitable for old people who have experienced the old CRT TVs, they also see worse, hear worse and don't mind giving personal data to a Chinese company. The registration of the 5 year warranty alone is appalling: The positive reviews for the extended warranty look like they were paid for or generated from the program. Alza knows nothing about the extended warranty and you have to go directly to the manufacturer For extended registration you have to register not only the TV but also yourself including personal data on tcl.com (Chinese company). TCL's warranty extension pages are currently not working properly for some users, and support has known about this for a long time. So if you don't call them, you won't get registered. Registration is unnecessarily long and you must also register to have a TCL ID. Support says they have been told that this is what people are supposed to be required to do.

The picture isn't very good, either it's blown out or bland, but it's a cheap TV, one can bear it. The 8 year old, also cheap Philips had a significantly better picture, but it went away.
The sound is not great, it comes from underneath, maybe on the wall it would be better.
The TV is slow, but it's bearable. Philips (8 years old) was also a Google/Android TV and was faster.
In general, the system here is less customizable than in the old Philips(Here was the predecessor of Google TV) and also gives you even more Netflix and the like.

I wanted a cheap 4K TV for Netflix and co, playing music from YouTube, ideally gaming via GeForce Now. I'm pretty happy, although the music sounds better from the external speakers and the game controller I bought didn't pair. The TV looks good, the picture and sound quality is good enough, the system is (after some work removing unwanted pre-installed applications) clear. I do not regret the purchase.

I was choosing a TV for a long time, I was in the showroom in Alza many times and I looked at all possible manufacturers, unfortunately I didn't find that much difference between the TVs. When I sorted the parameters I wanted, I got a TV for 40k CZK and then a TLC for 10k CZK. I have been back to look at specific models. I didn't see any difference in the display. Maybe it's because the TVs aren't side by side and not running the same video. If there was more time and the ability to borrow a few TVs to take home and study everything in detail, I might find more differences, but if you're in the showroom and they're running oversaturated video, you won't know anything. If you play 4K HDR video, I think the picture is the same on all TVs. The difference is when you put something on TV in the wrong resolution.
