If you're looking for a TV without compromise, Sony is definitely a great candidate. It offers PS5 support, an OLED display without any compromises and solid audio performance from the ground up. Pleasantly surprised by the sound and image postprocessing of the XR processor. However, you can't avoid some of the finer image settings and especially turning off Motion smoothing.
Having experienced the Korean competition, I have to commend the TV (Google TV) system as it is smooth, clear and allows easy downloading of apps from Google Play. The additional content with the overpriced BraviaCore is a nice bonus. What is a pleasant surprise is the additional Sony cam to support hand gestures for quick actions. Surprisingly, it works in +90% of cases.
Where this TV excels is especially when combined with PS5-enabled games. Compared to my older LCD TV, the difference in colour reproduction and higher refresh rate (Hz) is noticeable at first glance.
