I switched from Samsung's top of the line and the main reason was Ambilight. I don't regret it. So far, I am maximally satisfied with the TV.
Ambilight - I would never have expected how cool this is. I wouldn't want a TV without an ambilight anymore. The good thing is that the ambilight can be switched on even without the TV on.
I find the picture to be excellent (I switched from Samsung QLED) both for movies and Xbox gaming
I disagree that the driver is bad. It's fine with me. Everything I need has its own button. It paired with my T-mobile TV box without any extra setup.
Everything essential can be adjusted and set, but the menus are a bit unclear in places
The system runs briskly. In the two weeks I've had the TV, it hasn't bitten or slowed down once.
I was surprised that the initial setup took a little longer. But nothing insurmountable.
