In standby mode the CPU heats up to 70 C which is pretty hot. After running RDR2 on high (not max) settings it jumped up to 92 C even with the turbo fan option which is loud as hell. Giving it back tomorrow. I know that heat and poor cooling is a common laptop issue but here it is unacceptably too hot. Wouldn't recommend as a gaming option.

Design, buttons, software, monitor. cool, but as far as gaming goes. I don't recommend it. high CPU and graphics temperatures - it often shuts down my game. I have to have turbo on = fans at maximum to keep the game running (an old uncomplicated game). and with the turbo/fan on high. you can hear almost nothing, so you don't play at all. and I haven't tested the newer modern games yet.
Good for casual work, but not recommended for gaming.
I recommend trying everything as soon as possible after purchase. not to make a mistake like me, when I got to play the game (testing) only after three weeks after purchase and can no longer return the goods within 14 days. compared to a 6 year old notas, which can keep the same 10-15 degree Celsius game running without any problems, it's really a horror.
Battery life reported. 8h? - you'll be glad for 2 hours of running time (if you don't have anything on, otherwise even less)
