I never had much confidence in ADATA products in general, but when I was choosing a power supply around 2500, - I found that this power supply is probably the best for the price if you "need" a 16pin connector for graphics and don't want to mess with reductions. I based my choice on reviews on the web (especially Hardware busters) where they describe the internals. It is a classic Channel Well Technology CSE platform power supply, but well equipped (Japanese capacitors, quality fan). I never thought I'd write this, but it inspires more confidence in me than in the same price range e.g. Seasonic source their cheaper series. Well, we'll see how it holds up, but a ten-year warranty means that the manufacturer also trusts their product. The power supply is pleasantly small, quite quiet. The cables are not as stiff as it says here, you kind of expect the cable to not be as flexible as a feather. Rather, in my case it was very difficult to insert the ATX connectors into the motherboard, perhaps as if the pins were a hundredth of a mm out of specification. But in the end, with feeling and a bit of strength, it succeeded. A sticker, a cable bag and a nice box are good things, but I don't really care for this stuff, it ends up forgotten in the cabinet until I look for a cable. it seemed to me that if the packaging was plain, the source would become much more price competitive.
