We bought this washing machine to replace a model that was about 15 years old. I'm quite happy to see that the build quality hasn't significantly dropped since then. The large drum, a reasonable number of programmes and the labels in Czech make it very easy to use. Paradoxically, even the app is quite useful, whether for the delayed start or the notifications when the cycle is finished. As a bonus, I also like that it's compatible for pairing via the Electrolux app (if you have multiple products from these brands, you don't need separate apps). The detergent dispensers are also beautifully clear (I also rate the separate compartment for Ariel pods etc. as a nice bonus). Otherwise, the machine washes very well, and I'm also very impressed with the spin cycle – you'll definitely notice the difference if you then dry the laundry on a clothes horse. I can't comment on the reliability yet; we'll see after some time.

We already have experience with the AEG brand of washing machine, so our choice when looking for a new product was somewhat influenced. So far, it seems that AEG has taken a step forward. The user interface is really intuitive and selecting the right washing programme is not complicated at all. What I do see as a big problem, unfortunately, is the attitude of the Alza employees during the installation of the appliance, which was properly paid for. Pat and Mat turned up – the workers didn't have any tools with them, they didn't connect the original inlet hose because there was an opening for the drain hose under it, which supposedly prevented the original inlet hose from being fitted – they broke this hose because when they tried to force it on, they stripped the threads. Then they said it couldn't be done and that we had two options – either call a plumber, meaning we couldn't start using the washing machine straight away, or they could connect the old hose from the original washing machine (at that point I had no idea the new hose had already been broken). In the end, I agreed to have the old hose installed, then they quickly ran a basic 20-minute programme, didn't even tell us how to start the machine or how to open the door – the display showed 18 minutes left until the end of the wash, so within two minutes they were out the door and gone. And now for the grand finale – when I went into the bathroom after some time, I found it was full of water. Pat and Mat hadn't even checked if the hose was OK. Of course, it was full of limescale and badly fitted. I will be taking all of this up with Alza and I'm curious to see how they will handle the problem, whether they will provide me with a new original inlet hose that their employees broke, and what they will do about the fact that the service I paid for wasn't actually carried out and I ended up having to sort everything out myself.

I was most surprised by how well it handles normally soiled laundry on shorter programmes. The laundry comes out beautifully clean, well-washed, and doesn't get stretched out even after repeated washing. I also appreciate the large drum, which lets me wash bedding or a larger load of clothes for the whole family without any problems. The controls are simple and intuitive.
