The road to this washing machine was a bit lengthy, so I'll take this review and a bit general about the manufacturer AEG. I personally have experience with the 7000 series washer and dryer, which I owned until recently. We have had the washing machine for 4 years and there was nothing to fault it. There was only a small defect, after about 3.5 years the drum had a hole in the door seal (probably from the factory deformed seal), before I noticed it so there was a leak into the bowels of the washing machine. The rubber was replaced on the spot by an AEG service technician. Reimbursed by Alsa under the extended warranty. Even when disassembling the washing machine, it was obvious that there was a small amount of corrosion inside the casing. It wasn't a big deal, but the corrosion crawled out within six months and literally ate the washer. The repair estimate was 11 thousand crowns + 1150 for the technician's trip. Everything was settled under the extended warranty by refunding the money, reimbursing the technician's trip minus the deductible of 1 thousand CZK. So yes, for washing machines, fridges and appliances in general, where water is involved and they are more expensive, the extended warranty is definitely worth it! But pay attention to the content and level of cover specified in the insurance policy and the general terms and conditions of insurance. In this I have to give Alza plus points, he never makes any obstruction. After the refund, my wife and I chose the 9000 series model with heat pump and lint filter that we purchased from another dealer. It should be noted here that the lint filter is a design requirement to collect the lint in the circulating air inside the washing machine, but it won't get rid of the lint in the rubber, you'll have to wipe it out with a rag after each wash. The advantage of the LWR96944BC model is clearly low consumption. Unfortunately, there is the same design flaw as the older L9WBAN61BC. Some users complain about the noise level. Apparently it's a problem with the heat pump compressor mounting and the refrigerant tubes hitting the scrubber wall. My piece was beating like a Soviet concrete mixer, absolutely unusable in both 1 and 2 bedroom. Its noisiness could be eliminated by storing it, for example, in my parents' garage on the other side of the country. So if you don't want to feel like you're on a Hornbach cross-section at home, go for something from the 8000 series (classic design, no heat pump). And here we come to this particular model, which is a bit of a safe bet. Clearly the most aesthetically pleasing washing machine with a range of features. Again, the rule is that if you have the space and can get a washing machine and dryer separately! This is really an emergency if you don't have room. For your money, you get a quality, quiet appliance that washes and dries beautifully, has an integrated wifi module (only in the 2.4 Ghz band) and a number of gadgets such as remote control, an overview of the current washing status, the possibility of activating functions such as protection against wrinkling the laundry if you can not immediately remove it after drying. The washing machine also gives tips on how to use it and asks for routine maintenance, such as cleaning the filter, etc. You can also activate the child lock remotely to prevent children from playing with the controls of a running washing machine. As far as drying is concerned, the laundry is really dry. Some of the denser materials may have traces of moisture left in them, the cor, if they get tangled and "hide" in the other clothes being washed, but they will dry within 30 minutes out of the washing machine, or they can be thrown in the washing machine for a few more minutes for manual drying. For me, my opinion is clear. AEG has good appliances, but they simply couldn't handle the combined washing machines (2 in 1) with heat pump (SensiDry technology). If you want security and don't mind higher consumption, this is the ideal choice for a family of 2 to 4. You can still buy models that wash and dry more kg, but the difference is about 4 thousand CZK. If you're thinking about this model, yes. Definitely worth the extended warranty (more expensive, high stress appliance). If you don't want to wipe the dryer lint off the drum rubber, get a separate dryer, lint accumulates even with the 9000 series with a filter.
