We always take out the laundry dry, beautifully fluffy, completely free of lint and dust, in the vast majority without the need to iron. Some pieces of laundry that looked like they were worn, look even newer after drying.
The program time is often reduced during the course of the program, so that smaller loads can sometimes be finished in as little as two hours.
We also like the ability to light up the drum, it is very spectacular.
After drying, if you don't have the option to take the clothes out right away, the dryer will occasionally spin the clothes for some time.
You can set up many more options through the app and, more importantly, more clearly.
It's definitely noisier than I expected, it hums like a tank.
There is no waste connection accessory, which has to be purchased (unless you want to use the installed tray), and the hose from the dryer has to be handled carefully, as it is soft and breaks easily.
When you are surprised, as I was, that the enclosed printed manual doesn't contain a lot of information, be sure to download the full version of the manual from the AEG app or website.
For some it may be an advantage, for me it is a disadvantage that the feet are made of hard and slippery plastic, so the dryer moves well, but then slides on the tiles, even if you just lean on it.
Cleaning the filter is a bit of a pain, the dust gets stuffed into all the folds and hinges of the filter, but it's clear to me that you can't do it without the filter, and it takes less time than hanging and ironing.
