I purchased the dryer after a previous good experience with the AEG brand. I was very tempted to have a special program for drying down jackets. The dryer did not disappoint me. It dries quickly, quietly and well. After drying, it sends a notification to your mobile device that the drying programme is complete and fluffs the clothes for a while to prevent them from wrinkling before you take them out. The dryer door is transparent, so you can use the built-in drum light to see how the dryer is working during drying. Not all available programmes can be called up directly using the rotary dial on the device. Some are only available in the app, but three of them can be assigned to the three available positions on the rotary selector. Steam drying is good for when you want your clothes to be less wrinkled or you intend to iron them straight after drying. There is no need to refill the water for steam drying, the dryer prepares it itself during the previous drying sessions. If the tank is empty, distilled water can be used. When you are not using the steam drying, you need to drain this tank from time to time, otherwise the water in it will age.
