The previous AEG washing machine lasted 10 years. We have chosen this brand again. If you want to put a classic dryer upstairs, choose a completely different model! However, we are very happy with the washing machine, the quietness and wringing is really solid above average, and the increased speed especially on towels and bedding will save us a solid chunk on dryer electricity over 10 years.
