The price fluctuates a lot, sometimes the appliances are cheaper in a set, sometimes the set is more expensive than both appliances bought separately. AEG occasionally has a cashback promotion.
In the base it is delivered with the waste plugged into a container at the top of the dryer. A kit for connecting the external waste is included (ends with 8mm inner diameter hose). Simply purchase a double elbow with check valves for mounting on a standard concealed washing machine waste.
The hinges are on the right when delivered, they can be swapped to the left side. The door handle can then be on the top right or bottom right (recommended). In the set with the AEG washing machine it looks nice and both doors open on the same side (the hinges of the set washing machine cannot be swapped to the other side).

We wanted a gentle dryer that would dry at a low temperature. On paper this one is perfect, lots of fukntions, nice model this year, super control. I learned from support that it works at 54°C which is the lowest we could find. Maybe someone has less, but unfortunately it's an almost undetectable figure. I expected the new product to have a certain smell, but with the program the whole apartment smells like a sneaker factory. An unbearable, toxic stench. Even after six cycles and hand wiping the drum, there is no sign that anything will change soon. Overall disappointing. For the money, I would expect a perfect product.
