I'm not saying they are bad headphones, but they are not good headphones in a higher class. The cheaper AKG K52s also supposedly sound better than these.
Clean highs and bass, but they are not consumer headphones, they are more like "monitors" (headphones that play without any frills as the sound is supposed to), so if you like bass, you might want to turn up the EQ. Anyway, it has a good clean presentation and thick bass and treble.
The mids are nothing special (for hi-fi headphones) and I can hear it even as a semi-amateur user.
Headphones hardly isolate ambient noise.
