There is little space between the spout and the first container - he could hardly reach the water with his tongue. Overflow from the first bowl to the second - he would have to lick the plastic. Second bowl - too low level (4-5 cm below the rim), diameter just a little bigger than the cat's head so basically can't do it here either. The only way is to add a drain from the second container to raise the level and he could drink like in the fake photo. And it's not a completely silent pump, but it's acceptable.
