The book drew me into the plot, it was readable, I liked the main characters
Although the book does talk about necromancy and it might be too much for some people, I think it's actually pretty cool
for me personally the worst part was the description of the war and the behaviour of the people so I have to agree that it's not really for those who are sensitive to these topics. Or at the very least, you have to consider that the book in some form describes the brutality of the warring sides and how both sides are capable of doing basically anything to win.
