The product came in an unpacked box, it was used (there were several measurements in memory). At first I was determined to return it. Eventually I got over my annoyance and hope it will serve reliably for at least the claimed life of the sensor. I do not evaluate the quality of the measurement, I have not yet had the opportunity to compare it with a certified instrument.
